Reliance on spreadsheets frustrated the Port of Tacoma’s attempts to make their budgets align with their accounting system. The organization implemented Prophix and saved consolidation time, simplified their business forecasting and financial reporting tasks, and built their capacity for scenario planning. More importantly, improvements to the Port’s financial and operational processes provided them with automated business modeling and made a major impact on their bottom line.
